New Kohler EnginesCommand Pro 34, 36 and 38 hp enginesThis summer, Kohler is launching 6 new Command Pro engines to meet commercial turf, industrial and generator customer's needs for higher horsepower and maintain their leadership position in these market segments. The engines are rated at 34 hp, 36 hp and 38 hp in both vertical and horizontal configurations. They feature a huge 999cc displacement, air-cooling, overhead valves, and heavy duty air and oil filters. The vertical shaft models will be offered on premium commercial riding equipment. The horizontal shaft models will power premium commercial turf equipment, industrial equipment and generators.
Step 1 During initial turns of the filter, the cup springs upward opening the drain valve and draining oil out of the filter housing and into the crankcase. All oil is drained from the filter housing before the seal is broken between the filter and the housing. Step 2 As the filter is turned further and the seal is broken, oil within the filter now drains into the housing and out the drain valve to the crankcase. All oil is now drained from the filter as well as the housing resulting in less spillage and a cleaner servicing of the engine.
