Pitt Auto Receives Top Kohler Award

Pitt Auto Electric Company was the proud recipient of Kohler's 2006 Slickest Dipstick Grand Prize. This top service award recognizes innovative and successful sales and marketing programs. Pitt Auto received Slick Dipstick awards for the Diamond Deals and TRENDWAY Kohler Engine Repower programs.

One particularly successful TRENDWAY offering repowers the John Deere model 318 (originally powered by an Onan 18hp) with a new Kohler Command Twin 20hp. The TRENDWAY repower kits include instructions and all the additional parts to complete the installation. In the case of the John Deere 318, the TRENDWAY kit also includes engine mounting plates, PTO yoke, key, allen screw, assorted bolts/nuts/washers, pipe with pipe cap, positive battery cable, spacers, lock washer, muffler, muffler clamp, muffler elbow, Bosch relay, wire harness and foam seal.

The Diamond Deals program featured six different Deals including Kohler tune-up kits, displays, parts and more. Each Deal was structured as a stand-alone program allowing dealers to take advantage of the Deals that best suited their business, but dealers who took advantage of more than one Deal earned additional benefits, using avaialble marketing tools to increase sales throughout the line.
