Kohler Command CS Pro. . . Performance On Command We are proud to announce that Kohler has added five new, durable engines to it's vast Command Pro offerings. These Command CS Pro single-cylinder horizontal-shaft engines (4-12hp) deliver solid results for anyone who demands high-performance power, effortless starting, long-life and quieter operation.

By incorporating an advanced overhead-valve, slant-cylinder design, the new air-cooled, four-stroke, gasoline engines are sized to fit compact installations and boast several competitive advantages. In addition to greater fuel efficiency, quieter operation and longer engine life, each model has been specifically designed with larger displacements and a high-inertia flywheel to provide peak torque performance. A swirl induction combustion chamber and mechanical governor work together to offer outstanding response and control at all rpms.

Other features include interchangeable mounting for current OEM equipment, dual oil drain and fill, low-oil protection, carburetor bowl drain, and oversized fuel tanks with dual filter and three-way valve positioning.

With standard features such as an advanced electronic ignition system, automatic compression release and dual main ball bearings, the Command CS Pro engines have the formula for effortless starting in all types of weather. Electric start specifications are also available with various charging systems: 4 and 6hp (7-amp), 8.5, 10 and 12 hp (10 and 18-amp).

Kohler Command CS Pro engines include features for extended engine life: dual main ball bearings (for maximum side-loading capabilities), steel-forged crankshaft, cast iron cylinder liner, Stellite ® faced exhaust valves with special Tuftride ^TM coated stems, Oil Sentry ^TM and dual element air cleaner. Optional 2:1 or 6:1 gear reduction, high-output charging systems, and a heavy-duty cyclonic air cleaner are also available for especially rigorous working conditions.
