Innovation Yields Best-in-Class Product for Buffalo Turbine![]() Buffalo Turbine's new Cyclone KB3 Debris Blower is the most powerful, economical, quiet and versatile debris blower in its class. The Cyclone now puts out a staggering 10,500 CFM at a whopping 180 MPH. The Kohler 23 HP Command Twin OHV engine drives Buffalo Turbine's patented turvine design. With the new Cyclone, Buffalo Turbine, Kohler Engines and Pitt Auto Electric Company are introducing the following customer focused innovations: Innovation #1 - Buffalo Turbine's Wireless Controls![]() Buffalo Turbine has removed the long control cable that runs to the operator and replaced it with a wireless control. With the wireless control, the operator can change engine speed from idle to top speed and rotate the blower nozzle 360°. The wireless control unit has been ergonomically designed to fit comfortably in the operator's hand. The control also fits comfortably in a pocket and has a belt clip on the back. Innovation #2 - Kohler's Electronic Governor![]() Kohler has designed an electronic governor system that accepts electronic communication from Buffalo Turbine's wireless control Kohler's electronic governor quickly changes RPM setting when commanded and then holds that exact RPM setting. Kohler builds over-speed protection into the system for engine protection and to add to operator safety. Pitt Auto Electric Company is proud to distribute Kohler Engines to Buffalo Turbine. Innovation #3 - More Power for Customers![]() The new Cyclone KB3 will now produce more airflow to get customers' jobs done faster and better. The noew maximum airflow is more than 10,500 CFM and 180 MPH. Normally used at golf courses, racetracks, sports fields and parks, the blowers are now being installed on the lead trucks of U.S. convoys and have proven effective in blower away garbage and other debris used to camouflage bombs hidden by insurgents along roadways. Recently a Buffalo Turbine KB2 debris blower saved soldiers' lives in Iraq when its power not only uncovered, but actually set off a bomb. Because of this precaution, no one was hurt. The following day, U.S. technicians installed a new fuel tank and the Buffalo Turbine was back in service. |
