Discount Terms
Standard terms on orders financed through Pitt Auto Electric by a customer with an account in good standing are 1.5% cash discount at 10 days, net 30 days.
Small Engine & Outdoor Power Product Dealer Policies
Free Freight & Special Terms Combo Program
This is a free freight & special terms combo program forour small engine and outdoor power products customers. Purchase any combination of Kohler, Oregon, or any other of our Outdoor Power Products (OPP) engines, parts, accessories or wholegoods totaling a minimum of $2,500 and receive free freight and 60-day GE (1-Pay-60) Scheduled Payment Program (SPP) financing. Qualifying orders exceeding $5,000 will receive free freight and 30/60/90/120-day GE (4-Pay-120) Scheduled Payment Program (SPP) financing. To qualify, the purchase must be shipped from our warehouse, be financed through GE, must have GE credit approval, and unit net pricing on each individual item cannot exceed $2,000.
Standard Freight Program
Truck & UPS Ground Shipments from Pitt Warehouse
- Free freight on shipments exceeding $7,500.00
- Customer pays freight for shipments not qualifying for the above free freight program. Freight charges are prepaid by Pitt Power Products and added to the customer invoice.
- Pitt Power Products reviews customer purchases for the prior month on the 15th of each month.
- Pitt Power Products will credit the customer's account for freight charges, up to a maximum of $18.00 per shipment, for the first six original or backorder invoices exceeding $150.00 in product purchases.
- Customer's account must be current in order to receive the freight credit.
Customer pays actual freight on premium, expedited or drop shipments or shipments by a customer-specified carrier.
Backorder Shipments:
- Backorders shipped from our warehouse are shipped with the customer's next new order shipment and are subject to the freight programs above.
- As a customer convenience to minimize multiple backorder shipments, held backorders are scanned weekly and are shipped subject to the freight programs above, if they meet any of the following conditions: Any of the backordered items have been held for over two weeks, or the aggregate dollar value of the backorder exceeds $150.00, or the customer requests immediate shipment of the backorder.
Non Small Engine and Outdoor Power Products Shipments
The above program is for small engine (Kohler) and outdoor power products shipments only. All other shipments, including industrial engines, accessories and parts and Baroness equipment, accessories and parts shipments, are on a customer-pay basis.
Minimum Order
A minimum order charge of $5.00 will be assessed for orders not meeting our $25.00 minimum order requirements.
